\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLorenzo Mattoti is an Italian graphic artist and cartoonist known worldwide for his comics, illustrations and posters. In the field of comics, he won an Eisner Award in 2003 for his Doctor Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, while his illustrations have been published in magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Vogue, New Yorker, Le Monde and Vanity Fair. He began his career in the late 1970s, working in Italian magazines and publications. His unique and distinctive style is characterised by a bold and vibrant use of colour, fluid lines and an ethereal beauty that is reflected in each of his works. Throughout his career, Mattotti has collaborated with renowned authors, illustrating literary works and graphic novels to critical and popular acclaim. His collaborations with writer Neil Gaiman on the graphic novel “The Admiral and the Boy” and with Jerry Kramsky on “Stigmata” are outstanding examples of his versatility and talent. In addition to having won the prestigious Eisner Award, Mattotti has also been awarded with the Grand Prix of the Angoul\u00eame International Festival and the Prix Saint-Michel Award, among others, in recognition of his impact on the world of illustration and comics. His works have been exhibited in galleries and museums around the world, and his influence on the contemporary art world is undeniable.
