Recibiu o Premio Unicef de Curtametraxes e Documentais por <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Bajo la almohada<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Na s\u00faa traxectoria profesional, \u00e9 destacable a s\u00faa etapa como directora da Mostra Internacional de Cinema d&#8217;Animaci\u00f3 de Catalunya (ANIMAC), labor que desempe\u00f1ou entre 2003 e 2011. Baixo a s\u00faa direcci\u00f3n, o certame recibiu o Premio Nacional do Audiovisual outorgado polo Consell Nacional de la Cultura i de les Arts (CoNCA).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Alterna a actividade de realizaci\u00f3n coa docencia. Coordinou o Laboratorio de Imaxe en Movemento en Arteleku (Donostia). Tam\u00e9n foi profesora na China Academy of Fine Arts (CAFA) de Pequ\u00edn e no National Institute of Design (NID) en Ahmedabad (India). Dende 2017 \u00e9 profesora de animaci\u00f3n na Kunsthochschule f\u00fcr Medien K\u00f6ln (Alema\u00f1a).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Actualmente, est\u00e1 desenvolvendo a s\u00faa primeira longametraxe de animaci\u00f3n: <\/span><b><i>El sue\u00f1o de la Sultana<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A s\u00faa historia ten como fundamento o traballo con diversos grupos de mulleres na India, inspir\u00e1ndose no cl\u00e1sico hom\u00f3nimo da literatura de ciencia ficci\u00f3n feminista.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Isabel Herguera forma parte do xurado desta primeira edici\u00f3n do festival.
