Tras completar a s\u00faa licenciatura en Belas Artes en Pontevedra, trasladouse \u00e1 capital brit\u00e1nica onde realizou un Master en Comunicaci\u00f3n e Dese\u00f1o na prestixiosa Central Saint Martins. Foi honrada coa bolsa da &#8220;Fundaci\u00f3n Barri\u00e9 da Maza&#8221;, o que lle permitiu completar un segundo m\u00e1ster en Direcci\u00f3n de Animaci\u00f3n na Escola Nacional de Cinema e Televisi\u00f3n, gradu\u00e1ndose en 2012.<br><br>Desde ent\u00f3n, traballou como directora, animadora e dese\u00f1adora en reco\u00f1ecidos estudios como Picasso Pictures, Blink Ink, Electric Theatre Collective, The Line, Animade, Passion Pictures, e Partizan, entre outros. En 2013, xunto \u00e1 sua colega Daniela Negrin Ochoa, comezaron a traballar como directoras a d\u00fao en &#8220;Wednesday Collective&#8221; e dous anos m\u00e1is tarde decidiron cofundar Wednesday Studio, onde desenvolven unha exitosa traxectoria profesional no campo da animaci\u00f3n contempor\u00e1nea para publicidade, colaborando con clientes de renome como Netflix, Microsoft, Ebay, Airbnb, entre outros.<br><br>En 2012, Iria L\u00f3pez destacou como directora coa s\u00faa aclamada curtametraxe &#8220;Jam\u00f3n&#8221;, a cal recibiu numerosos premios e reco\u00f1ecementos.
