Martín Romero (Boiro, 1981) is an illustrator, comic book author, and animation director. He combines all these disciplines to develop a wide range of projects. As an illustrator, he works in both advertising and editorial fields, with clients such as El País, Seat, and Abanca. His comics have been published in magazines such as Le Monde Diplomatique(France), Kuti Kuti (Finland), Stripburger (Slovenia), Bile Noire (France), Mille Putois (Canada), O Suplemento (Brazil), and the American Vice.

His graphic novels Las fabulosas crónicas del ratón taciturno (2011), Episodios Lunares (2015), and La deuda (2017) have been published both in Spain and France.

He is currently developing the children’s comic series Uxío, with two titles published so far: Uxío (2019) and Uxío e amigos (2023).
