OFFICIAL PROGRAMME
The festival will present 6 official competitive short film blocks, offering audiences a wide selection of some of the most outstanding works from the international, national and Galician scenes produced in 2025 and 2026. The programme aims to reflect the stylistic, thematic and technical diversity of contemporary animation, giving visibility both to emerging talents and to creators with an established career

The competition is structured as follows:
- 5 sections for adult audiences, with a selection designed to highlight innovation, authorship and the artistic quality of the works.
- 1 bloque específicamente orientado al público familiar, con una propuesta accesible y atractiva para todas las edades, favoreciendo la participación de nuevos públicos en el ámbito de la animación menos comercial.
CATEGORIES
The jury, made up of professionals from the animation sector, will be responsible for evaluating the films in competition and awarding the following prizes, which recognise different dimensions of animated creation:
- Imaxinaria Grand Prize — 1.500 €
Awarded to the best short film of the edition, recognising the artistic and technical excellence of the work.
- Jury Prize — 1.000 €
Recognises a standout work for its creativity, innovation or narrative, according to the professional criteria of the jury.
- Territory Prize — 500 €
Awarded to the best work produced at a national level, highlighting the diversity and quality of domestic creation.
By audience vote
- Adult’s Audience Award — 500 €
Chosen by festival attendees, it highlights the emotional connection and impact of the works on adult audiences.
- Children’s Audience Award — 500 €
Voted on by younger viewers, it underlines the festival’s commitment to fostering new audiences and future generations of animation spectators.
